Our Wedding

We are getting married in Calistoga, California, a small town in Napa Valley wine country. Below are the best ways to travel to the area including airport options and transportation within Napa Valley.

Airports

Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport (STS)

Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport (STS) is a convenient choice for flying into Napa Valley. While it’s a smaller airport and can be on the pricier side, it offers the shortest drive time upon arrival, making it the best option for convenience.

Sacramento International Airport (SMF)

Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is a great option. It offers a variety of flight choices, often at more affordable prices. Plus, the drive to the valley is usually less crowded than routes from the Bay Area, making for a more enjoyable trip.

Oakland International Airport (OAK)

Oakland International Airport (OAK) offers a good number of flight choices and is generally less busy than San Francisco International Airport. The drive to Calistoga is a bit longer, but it’s a straightforward route through the Bay Area.

San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is another option for traveling to our wedding. It offers many flight choices but can be busy. The drive to Calistoga is longer and may have traffic, but it’s a common route with plenty of services along the way.

Getting Around

Several transportation companies provide rental cars & private transportation from the airport to Napa Valley. Because Napa Valley spans 30 miles, a car is recommended while you are staying the weekend!

To avoid rush-hour traffic when driving - set your trip to drive at non-peak times (midday or after 7pm).

Rental Car Services

All major airports offer car rental service stations to help visitors get to Napa Valley. To name a few, Hertz, Enterprise, Avis & Budget are available at all major airport locations listed above. You can book a rental in advanced by visiting their websites and entering your airport information and travel dates!

Private Transportation Services

Private transportation services, such as limousines or SUV's, may be reserved for one-way transfers from the airport to Napa. Here are a couple of services we recommend..

Pure Luxury

True Elegance

Ride Share & Taxis

Due to the distance from SMF, OAK & SFO to Napa Valley, ride sharing services & taxis are not recommended.
